The Real Reasons We’re Making a Product for Mess-Free Period Sex

Reason 1: I hate tampons FLEX was born out of a personal problem: my periods were very uncomfortable. For one week out of every month, I felt gross. Smelly. Crampy. Bloated. Itchy. Embarrassed. Frustrated. For many years I accepted an uncomfortable period as a fact of life. We’re taught that periods aren’t supposed to be pleasant. What’s worse: after every period, I got a terrible yeast infection, and no doctor seemed to care. My vagina was out of commission for half of my life. One day, a nurse practitioner casually mentioned that my tampons could be to blame, and suggested I...

What’s Next After The Women’s March?

We all felt the camaraderie and hope after attending the Women’s March on Washington, held the day after Trump’s inauguration. But we also want to keep the momentum sustained. Last night, The Flex Company hosted an event at our headquarters in Venice, CA. The event was public; anyone in our community could come to gather, write their representatives, and share ideas. If you can stomach it, watch the commercial here.(Via Cosmo) cruxnow.com We...

Our mission is to create body-positive and life-changing experiences through the products that we...

BYU Is Doing What To Rape Victims?, The New Face of Feminism, and Pirouetting Through Communism

A scenario currently happening at the Mormon-run college, Brigham Young University (BYU). BYU is coming under heavy scrutiny this week for their moral compass/contract, the Honor Code. Essentially The Honor Code is a signature required system of standards based off of the mormon religion which students and faculty must adhere to. “It requires modest dress on campus, discourages consensual sex outside marriage, and among other things, prohibits drinking, drug use, same-sex...
