Our Retail Expansion and Why We’re Psyched!
Things we’ve gotten excited about in the past few months: Gaga and Grande’s collab, the ability to eat cake batter over the sink for breakfast without judgement (just us?)…and, the fact that Flex products are available in all Target and CVS locations across the country, as well as Walgreens!
You better believe this is a celebration we’re putting our fancy sweats on for. *chefs kiss*
Just like a grocery store has food for vegans and meat eaters, having more period care options in store allows for all different types of people to make choices that better suit their menstruation needs. YUS!
For example, if you’ve got vaginismus and super-sized tampons are too painful for you, you might be looking for an option that gives you more freedom and flexibility. If you’re highly conscious of using only sustainable period products that don’t harm the Earth, then having alternate, eco-friendly options in the aisle makes it easier for you to stick to your convictions.
With more products like Flex in store, people who bleed will have more options to choose from and more ways to learn about the period product healthcare industry. What gives us hope is thinking about someone finally being able to find a product that helps them in their period journey (and it doesn’t have to be ours!). A product that changes their life for the better and makes bleeding more manageable. The only way to do that is by increasing the types of products in-store.
TBH, one of the things that we think sets Flex apart is our mission. Yes, we’re here to bring rad period care products to the world’s doorstep (or…aisle-step?), but we’re also here to transform the lives of those who bleed.
This takes shape in the way we educate ourselves and others about what those who menstruate are going through. Through our commitment to creating body-safe products you can feel good and secure about wearing (learn more about what’s NOT in our products here). And through our dedication to creating innovative period care that helps destigmatize the BS periods face in society and around the world.
Freeing people from the stressful, painful, and frustrating PMS experience begins by presenting them with new choices that better align with their worldview. And on that note, next time you head to Target for an anxiety-soothing candle and much-needed pack of White Claw, maybe take a browse in the period care aisle. We’ll be the ones w/ the cute packaging and bad-ass benefits.
