Flex Disc FAQs

How do I insert Flex Disc?

Finding a position that works for your body is essential for proper disc insertion. Some users stand with a leg propped up, some sit on a toilet with their feet propped up on a stand, some squat all the way toward the floor.

Once in position, pinch the disc and push it back into your vaginal canal as if it’s pointed to the floor. When you can no longer pinch it, use your thumb or index finger to push it back even further, so it's propped up behind the pubic bone. Then, you're set! Some people will do squats or kegels to make sure it's settled into place.


Does Flex Disc really work during sex?

Yep! Because Flex Disc sits the vaginal fornix and leaves the vaginal canal unobstructed, sex is still on the table all month long. As long as the disc is inserted properly, neither you nor your partner should be able to feel it.

However, if your partner (or toy!) is particularly large, there may be some contact with the disc. This shouldn't cause any discomfort and the disc should stay in place.


Will it leak while going to the bathroom?

It might. When you go to the bathroom, the muscles relax and this can cause the disc to shift. If it empties a little, that's totally normal and nothing to worry about. Simply push the disc back into place with a clean finger when you're done. Users with heavy flows can also use this to their advantage to empty the disc mid-wear.

Place a finger on the top rim of the cup and press it down into the center of the cup to form a triangle.
