Answering your period questions because nobody taught us this in school.

1 Flex Disc = 12 hours of leak protection! Longer than what 1 tampon can do and often more comfortable too, because our period disc sits a little higher in your body where there are less nerve endings.

BUT we know trying something new can be scary, so here are our best tips.

How to use your Flex Disc.

1. Pinch your disc in half (like a taco).
2. Insert your disc down and back as far as you can.
3. Tuck the disc’s rim behind your pubic bone. That’s it.

How to remove your Flex Disc.

1. Hook your middle or pointer finger under the rim.
2. Gently remove your period disc, keeping it level.
3. Empty the contents into the toilet and you’re done.

Tips if you’re experiencing leaking.

1. Check if the disc is as far back as it can go.
2. Check if the disc is secured behind your pubic bone.
3. Try it at home first.
4. Wear a liner until you can confirm you can go the full 12 hours.
5. Practice inserting and removing Flex Disc when you’re not on your period.

Flex Disc sits higher up than a tampon, in a spot called the v*g*nal fornix. Because the fornix has fewer nerve endings than the rest of the v*g*nal canal, most people feel absolutely nothing while wearing Flex Disc. That’s not magic that’s just your body.
