I'm almost angry that I only discovered this menstrual disc in my late 30s. God, my life would've been so much easier if I had this 20 years ago. I wouldn't have had that mortifying experience where I bled all over myself in an airport lounge without realizing it, didn't have time to buy a change of clothes, had to sprint to my gate clutching a purse strategically, and then sit an entire flight with my legs crossed. TMI, but the point is: this thing will change your life.
There's a bit of a learning curve, but once you get past that, it's easy breezy. Also, a heads up: if you have vasovagal syncope, like I do, be aware that the first couple of times might trigger a fainting spell. So be ready to lie down on your bathroom floor to stop it. That sounds dramatic, but after the first couple of times, it'll likely stop registering as a trigger (like it did for me).
