- MMathildaVerified Buyer4 days agoRated 5 out of 5 starsLiterally life changing, for real!
As someone who has struggles with a lot of pain, really heavy and awful periods the reusable disc has changed my life during "period time". I feel safe leaving my house without worrying if I brought enough tampons (would have to change every hour..), not worrying about leakage and also avoiding the toxins (that's in most period products). Suuuuuper Happy!!

The Flex reusable menstrual disc is such an amazing product and I cannot sing its praises enough. I will admit I was a little intimidated when I tried inserting it for the first time, but it was actually a breeze. Once it's in there I don't feel it at all and it stays in place and doesn't leak at all. I love that it's so convenient and comfortable. The fact that I can leave it in for up to 12 hours is just mind-blowing to me. I never have to worry about wearing annoying pads or toxic tampons ever again. I also am amazed at how I can leave it in during sex and there is no mess to clean up afterwards. Also love love love the self-emptying functionality -- so cool! I am now a loyal Flex disc user and recommend it to everyone!

I am so glad I purchased the Flex Disc! It has changed my life. Incredibly easy to use, you can't feel it once it's in place, and it's super convenient. I love not having to buy tampons and I also love that I'm not flushing them down the toilet anymore. I highly recommend and I'm hoping to convince my daughters to switch over, as well! :)

After over 30 years of using every product imaginable—pads, tampons, menstrual underwear, and cups—I'm absolutely amazed by this product. For the first time ever, I’ve had zero leaks, even though I’ve struggled with leaks from both cups and tampons in the past. And this was my very first cycle using it! It took me less than a day to figure out how to use it, and the entire experience has been painless. It's easy to insert, wear, and remove. In fact, I forgot I was even on my period! Despite having had three kids, including one just four months ago, it works flawlessly. After two kids, I found my cup would often leak, but not with this disc. I have medium to heavy periods and still haven’t experienced a single leak. The self-emptying feature is a game-changer—no mess at all, even during my workday. My best tip: remove it in the shower the first time to avoid any mess. This product has truly been life-changing, and if you’re on the fence, I highly recommend giving it a try!

I got my period the night before my wedding and wanted something where I wouldn’t have to worry about leaking or having to run to the bathroom every hour to make sure I didn’t bleed through. So me and my bridesmaids ran to walmart and got a disc. I literally haven’t gone back to tampons or pads and have convinced my friends to switch to the disc! I wish I would’ve tried this years ago!! I love my flex disc :)

Frequently Asked Questions
Flex Reusable Disc is a body-safe and sustainable menstrual disc that provides all-day comfort and a high capacity, holding as much as 6+ super tampons-worth (70 mL) of fluid. It was thoughtfully engineered to be as easy to insert and remove as our best-selling disposable Flex Disc—but it’s 100% reusable and lasts for years.
Flex Reusable Disc features two new technologies for easy insertion and removal: Made with dual silicone construction, the disc has an ultra-soft, thin catch and a sturdy rim for non-slip removal, while its patented insertion notch creates a narrow point at one end when the disc is pinched for easier placement.
Like Flex Disc, the Reusable Disc is worn in the vaginal fornix. This means the vaginal canal is left unobstructed, so you can enjoy all the mess-free period sex™ your heart desires. Sleep in, swim, go for a run, live your life: Flex Reusable Disc provides 12 hours of uninterrupted leak protection and comfortable wear. You might even forget you’re on your period.Flex Reusable Disc: Great for your wallet. Even better for the planet.
The lifespan of the Flex Reusable Disc varies depending on cleaning and care, but it can last for years. As a general rule of thumb, we recommend replacing your disc every two to three years, or as soon as it begins to show any signs of deterioration (such as powder or film, severe discoloration, persistent odor, etc). Refer to our Reusable Disc Cleaning Instructions to learn how to care for your silicone disc and extend its lifespan.
As a reminder, do not use Flex Reusable Disc if you have a yeast or bacterial infection. Resume use only once the infection has completely cleared. If Flex Reusable Disc was inserted during a yeast or bacterial infection, remove it immediately and dispose of it in the trash.
The majority of Flex Disc users have heavy flows! We’ve heard from tons of customers with especially heavy periods who swear by Flex Disc, thanks to its higher capacity and 12-hour (read: all day) wear. The disc can hold up to 60 mL of fluid. That’s as much as 5+ super tampons!
Worried about leaks? Don’t stress. When inserted correctly, Flex Disc shouldn’t leak. You can even extend your wear time on your heaviest days by taking advantage of the disc’s hands-free emptying feature: Just bear down gently with your pelvic floor muscles when using the bathroom. This will shift the position of the disc so that it allows a little fluid out into the toilet. When done, simply use a clean finger to tuck your disc back into place behind your pubic bone.
Have Qs? Feel free to reach out to our Flexperts: Call 800-931-0882 or email help@flexfits.com.
First, wash your hands. Find a position to insert your disc: Some sit over the toilet, some stand with a leg elevated, some insert in a full squat. Play around until you find a position that works best for you!
Pinch the disc in half and begin inserting it into the vaginal canal, making sure you are pushing the edge that goes in first down and back towards your tailbone so that it sits at an angle and fully covers the cervix. Down and back is key! Then, tuck the front rim above and behind your pubic bone. Make sure it's pushed past the pubic bone as far as it can go.
You shouldn't be able to feel the disc. If you can still feel the disc internally, meaning with your vagina, just take it out and try it again. When you’re first starting out, know that it’s normal for it to take a few tries before you’ve mastered insertion! Learn more here.
