On-the-go Period Kit

I never used tampons, they scare me. It was always pads, then period underwear for a bit, which is kind of gross. Swimming was a no go (or I used a pad and it was not good).

When my older daughter was in mom + me swim lessons and my first period came back postpartum the morning of a lesson I needed to do something ASAP, skipping wasn’t a choice. Enter: the flex disc. I literally bought it on the way to swim and it’s been incredible.

I have some pelvic floor issues, so leakage does happen, but I just wear period undies too to catch any leaking and have never had an issue. I also had a really bad month after I was sick for a while and my pelvic floor was shot from so much coughing. So, beware, there may be some issues if you have a bad pelvic floor.

This disc has made me the happiest, no more gross feeling, just happy me during the bad time of the month.

genuinely have no words. i normally don’t write reviews but this product definitely deserves one. i got my period right before seeing my boyfriend. So i decided to try flex disc despite not even using tampons before. i thought that this would very complex and hard to put it. but it was quite literally the opposite. probably took me a minute max to get it in on my first try. this product allows you to not worry about your period when having sex. it’s amazing my boyfriend said he barely felt it. so blessed that this product was created because i’m never going back.

At 52 and still getting a regular period, I cannot overstate how tired I was of dealing with tampons, still misjudging flow and dealing with occasional emergencies, messy sex... ugh. These discs have been life-changing. A little bit of a learning curve, but not difficult at all. I was traveling recently on the day I was expecting to start my period so I used a disc--no worries about panty liner failure or dealing with tampons on the plane. My partner and I are long-distance, so periods could be a big bummer on visits. We're both totally fine with period sex, but having to mitigate that mess and trying to avoid blood ending up everywhere you don't want it can definitely kill the mood. We have really tested the limits of the disc and I promise, it works great; it's so liberating! Hubby always defers to my comfort level around this issue and he LOVES that I can actually relax and enjoy the moment more now. I highly recommend trying Flex!
