I'd feel so bad hearing about my girlfriend's woes during her period. It always sounded horrible, and the issues with pads added salt to her wounds. I've used tampons since around 12/13 years old due to having a heavy flow and not liking pads. I'm now 27 and have been getting more and more annoyed at how much sanitary products cost me every month. So I bought this disc - I was wary as I've tried a moon cup before and really struggled with it, but this disc is honestly FANTASTIC.

Even on day 1 period, I am able to go about my day normally - I sometimes even forget I'm on my period, which is just amazing. I was really worried about leaking but I've not had any problems (the only time I have, is when I was still getting used to how to insert it properly). Also, you can absolutely have mess-free sex with it in.

There's definitely a knack to inserting it properly, but once you've got that, it's great! Periods just feel soooooo much easier.
