Why you’ll love Flex Reusable Disc

Hand holding flexible reusable menstrual disc to show pliability and shape

Will it fit?

Flex Reusable Disc was designed to fit most vaginas. When you pinch the disc in half to insert, it’s about the same size as a tampon. It sits comfortably in the vaginal fornix—at the back of the vaginal canal, just beneath the cervix—and collects, rather than absorbs, your period.

    So comfortable

I love this thing. I started using flex discs about two years ago looking for an alternative to pads and tampons (which scare me to death because of bad experiences). I picked up the flex discs and loved how comfy and easy to use they are. Also helps with cramping and I love that. Yes they’re a bit messy and that’s kinda gross but I will take it over TSS and cramps or accidents from filled up pads. I have a heavy flow for 2 out of the 7 days. I have been eyeing the reusable ones for a while and finally got one and I absolutely love it. I’m kind of scared it will rip because of how thin it is but we will see. I thought it would be hard to use but it slipped in just as easily as the disposable ones and it’s just as easy to take out. Most people overthink it. It’s not that hard to insert or take out if you follow the directions. It has less leakage than the disposable ones too. I’m so glad I invested in this. I love the freedom it gives me.

    Love this product 💖🌸

I’ve had my flex disc for almost 2 years now. It makes me forget that I’m even in my period sometimes. I can have sex, no problem!

    Best decision I ever made!

I’ve never had great luck w period products. Not a big fan of pads, tampons kinda hurt (especially dry ugh) but I decided to give the disc a go. A lot of people go through many before they find a good one. But this was the first and only one I purchased and I can say 100% that it is the best decision I ever made! I recommend it to everyone I know. You don’t feel it in there, it’s virtually painless (other than a minor discomfort while pulling it out sometimes but that’s expected). Also really recommend if you have a high cervix, its quite easy to remove and insert, and it fit for me perfectly. All bodies are different and keep searching till you find what works for you! But, all in all it was definitely a great decision and I 100% recommend.

    Life Changing

It empties itself. I can literally leave it in all day. I take it out when I shower, clean it and pop it right back in. Sleep, exercise, swimming, and sex no problem. My husband can feel it a little bit but it’s not a big issue. You also don’t have to hold any strings away while you use the restroom like you would a tampon. I cannot begin to describe that I barely feel it and often forget I’m on my period completely. Accessible to insert and remove with one hand; I was able to use it even after I had surgery on my dominant hand, that’s how easy it is. I’ve had mine almost 2 years and it literally makes me hate my period less. Everyone should have one of these.

Not to be dramatic but this is the period product of my dreams.

    TWO WORDS FOR YOU:

    self-emptying.

Once upon a time I was a cup girl. Though my wallet and the planet were happy with this sustainable choice, I often found that my cup was full after just a few short hours, and I would have to empty it often— which is fine, but also tough to do in the bathroom at the airport or the Whole Foods or the concert venue, but hey, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.

Then, one day, one of my dear friends told me about this “self-emptying, reusable disc”. “Self-emptying???” I exclaimed. “Meaning, no more taking it out in the bathroom stall at the grocery store and discreetly washing the blood off your hands? No more quiet wrestling to keep your snow pants blood-free in the bathroom at the ski resort? No more panicking in the outhouse at the park? It just… empties itself??” It seemed too good to be true.

    But… is it?

Is it too good to be true, or is it just the period product that a woman would design for women?

I tried the disposable disc for one day, and I was hooked. It was truly like magic— you pee, the disc empties itself, pops back into place, and you get on with your day. No more overflowing, no searching the bottom of the purse for a tampon, no more emptying a cup in a public restroom in the middle of the day. Just clean it twice a day when it’s convenient for you.

My advice? Buy a disc and go enjoy being a girl.
