Can I use a menstrual disc with a tilted cervix or tilted uterus?
The way your menstrual disc will work with a tilted cervix or uterus (AKA a retroverted uterus) really depends on your unique anatomy. No two tilted uteruses are tilted in the exact same way.
Flex Disc, Flex Plant+ Disc, and Flex Reusable Disc were designed to fit most bodies, but there’s a small percentage who it does not work for. The angle of your uterus may or may not affect your disc's ability to create a good seal. You may have to experiment with different insertion methods to find the one that works best for you. When in doubt, you can always chat about this with your healthcare provider or gynecologist.
You may find that a menstrual cup, like Flex Cup, is better suited for your anatomy. The good news is that, when you buy a Flex Cup, you also get two free Flex Discs to test out (so you can see which you prefer).
