Menstrual Discs

When I put a finger in my vagina, I can still feel my disc—is it in right?

Yes, most likely!

When we say “you shouldn’t be able to feel your menstrual disc,” we mean you shouldn’t be able to feel it with your vagina when you’re going about your daily activities. This includes Flex Disc, Flex Plant+ Disc, and Flex Reusable Disc.

If it’s comfortable and you aren’t experiencing leakage, your disc is inserted correctly!

Note: Bathroom leakage, or seeing a little blood in the toilet when you use the restroom, is normal and does not mean your disc is inserted incorrectly. Learn more about hands-free emptying here

Keep in mind that every body is different, so your ability to easily feel your disc when you insert a finger will vary from person to person. However, the vaginal canal isn't that long, so most users can still feel their menstrual disc with their index or middle finger after it's been inserted all the way.

If you can feel the disc with your vagina, read our pro tips here. And as always, feel free to reach out to the Flexperts for 1:1 help! Call/text us at 800-931-0882 or email hello@flexfits.com
